It Started With a Craving
Back in 1995, two college friends in Kingston, Ontario had a problem: they wanted quick, affordable food that wasn't dripping in grease. They wanted something fresh, something healthy, something delicious.
So they did what any hungry entrepreneurs would do—they opened their own restaurant. Armed with fresh vegetables, quality meats, warm pita bread, and a passion for good food, Pita Pit was born.
The concept was simple but revolutionary: let customers watch their meal being made, choose exactly what goes in it, and serve it fresh from the grill. No mystery meat. No hidden ingredients. Just real food, made your way.

The Beginning
